Health Study Links Coffee Consumption & Lower Risk of Endometrial Cancer

In the US, Endometrial Cancer is the most common cancer for female reproductive organs. In fact, 1 in 37 women will get the cancer in their lifetime; however, a recent medical study found that women who drink three to four cups of coffee per day can lower their risk of endometrial cancer by 20 percent.

Endometrial cancer often begins in the lining of the uterus (endometrium). According to the American Cancer Society, or ACS, they predict over 54k women will be diagnosed with the disease this year.

Medical researchers studies 1,303 women who suffered from endometrial cancer (the researchers were from the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition Study). The researchers analyzed the links between 84 different foods and how they impacted the risk of endometrial cancer.

Once they did that, the researchers were able to narrow down to nine foods and their nutrients that impacted the risk of cancer; the nutrients studied were: total fat, non saturated fat, phosphorus, and carbs. Specific foods that were studied included coffee, yogurt, butter, potatoes, and cheese.

After this study, researchers analyzed the findings from a similar study by the Nurses' Health Study. This enabled the researchers to find that women who drank three to four cups of coffee per day lowered their risk of the cancer by almost 20 percent; this is in comparison to women who don't drink coffee.

Reduce your risk of endometrial cancer and enjoy some K-Cup coffee! Have it shipped to your door at your home or office, any time.
